This is Vester Media. Carly Vester is a science communicator from western Washington with a passion for filmmaking and marine ecosystems. If it swims, squirms, drifts, or dives, chances are she’s tried to take its picture! An overall lover of the outdoors, she believes understanding our connection to the environment is the first step to reducing our impact on it. Her first short film Salish Sea After Dark was selected for Gig Harbor Film Festival, Ireland Wildlife Film Festival, Earth Day Film Festival, West Sound Film Festival, and has screened at private events. Her editorial work has been featured in Alaska Magazine, Earth Island Journal, The Gateway Newspaper, Tacoma News Tribune, and other publications. It’s very likely that she is exploring the intertidal zone right now.
